Paul Soliai plays nose tackle for the Miami Dolphins. Drafted by the Dolphins in 2007, Paul is in his fifth NFL season as a consistent member of the team’s defensive unit. By the 2010 season, Paul was playing in every game, recording time in all 32 games in 2010 and 2011. Having recorded 33 tackles during the 2010 season, Paul was named a Pro Bowl selection in 2011 along with teammates Jake Long and Brandon Marshall.
Before going pro, Paul played football Coffeyville Community College in Kansas and the University of Utah. During his two seasons as Coffeyville, Paul was a two-time All-Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference offensive lineman. He also racked up All-American honorable mention honors in 2002 and first-team junior college All-American honors in 2003. Paul transferred to the University of Utah in 2004 where he was named a second-team All-Mountain West Conference selection in 2006.
