Kroy Biermann is a defensive end in the NFL for the Atlanta Falcons. He was selected by the Falcons in the 2008 NFL Draft as a top performer in the vertical jump and the 3-cone drill at that year’s NFL Combine. Kroy made 14 tackles as a rookie and recorded career highs in 2009 with three sacks and two sacks in one game. He scored his first NFL touchdown against the New Orleans Saints in 2009 and even stepped in as the Falcons’ placekicker, recording kickoffs of 67, 58 and 54 yards. Considered one of the NFL’s most versatile defensive ends, Kroy also plays on special teams and is part of the reason the Falcons have had such success with their blitz packages.

A Hardin, Montana native, Kroy earned eight letters in high school as a football, wrestling and track standout athlete. He was named a first-team All-State selection and team captain twice at linebacker and a first-team All-Conference selection twice at running back. In addition to his football success, Kroy finished second in the state wrestling championships twice. He attended the University of Montana, where he played in 52 career games totaling 220 tackles, 32 sacks, 45 tackles for loss, nine forced fumbles and seven fumble recoveries. He was named the Big Sky Conference Defensive MVP in 2007 and was Montana’s first-ever recipient of the Buck Buchanan Award, given to the top defensive player in Division I Football Championship Subdivision. Kroy is married to the The Real Housewives of Atlanta star, Kim Zolciak. They met during the filming of the show's third season and were married in 2011.
