Jenny conducts interviews of players, provides interesting analysis throughout each game and occasionally conducts fun interviews with fans during the game as well. In addition to her duties as the field reporter, Jenny is also the host of The Ultimate Red Sox Show, a weekly segment also broadcast on NESN.
Jenny was born and raised in Connecticut and went to college at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. Jenny was initially going for a major in hospitality with dreams of one day becoming a chef. However, she decided instead to pursue a degree in sports even marketing with a double major in hospitality and tourism management. Jenny started interning for the UMass athletics department, helping to set up future events for both the basketball and football programs. Just days after graduating from UMass, Jenny accepted a position at ESPN as a production assistant. She started working for the NBA at ESPN, learning all of the behind-the-scenes production tasks. Jenny eventually started helping as a production assistant for both NASCAR and Monday Night Football. Eventually, ESPN realized that Jenny had potential in front of the camera as well as behind it, and she became a regular on-air personality for ESPN’s website, featured on Countdown Daily and AccuScore, an NFL video production that previewed upcoming NFL matchups. Jenny was hired by NESN as the Boston Red Sox field reporter in January 2012.
