Steve had plans to go see his favorite team (the Chargers) in Miami. He even landed pregame sideline passes for himself and his three boys.
Then Steve called Thuzio and booked Natrone Means for an ‘Attend a Game’ experience. The former All-Pro running back was part of San Diego’s 1994 AFC Championship club and named to the franchise’s 50th anniversary team.
Not only did Steve and his family get to watch a game with their favorite player, but Natrone used his connections to introduce them to Stan ‘The Man’ Humphries. Before you knew it, everyone was in the owners box with another former QB, Heisman Trophy winner Doug Flutie.
Here are the photos from one very special day.
Tailgating in the parking lot with Natrone.
Riding the elevator, going to the game with a Chargers legend.
VIP? That’s good, right?
No doubt that this could be used as a family holiday photo.
The view from the sideline.
Hey! It’s Stan Humphries.
Here’s the requisite Phil Rivers photo.
Steve flashing his credentials on the field at Sun Life Stadium.
Started from the bottom, now we’re here … on the field.
Natrone chatting with Chargers owner Dean Spanos.
That may have had something to do with this next photo from the owners box.
The boys with former Chargers QB and Heisman winner Doug Flutie.
At the end of the day, Natrone signed Steve’s jersey. All in all, a fantastic day, even though the Chargers lost.
Thanks to Steve for sharing his photos.
* Thuzio connected Natrone and Steve but did not provide the sideline passes OR the owners box access.
